Crash blocks lane, ramp on Interstate 65 south in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - An accident disrupted traffic along Interstate 65 in Indianapolis during Thursday evening's rush hour, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.

An advisory by INDOT TrafficWise at 6:36 p.m. stated that the crash occurred on I-65 southbound at Exit 121 for Lafayette Road. The right lane and exit ramp were blocked near mile marker 120.9 while emergency crews responded.

Drivers were advised to expect the closures to last for about an hour and a half.
