INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A crash caused delays for drivers on the east side of Indianapolis during Tuesday evening's rush hour.
According to an alert from WIBC Traffic at 5:12 p.m., the accident took place on northbound Interstate 465 between Interstate 70 and Pendleton Pike. Four lanes were shut down on I-465, with only the right lane getting by.
Motorists were advised to use caution when traveling through the area, as one of the cars involved in the crash was inverted in the middle of the roadway and a bumper was in the center lane.
Traffic was reported to be jammed back to Washington Street and U.S. 40.
