INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Emergency responders were called to the scene of a crash on Interstate 465 in Marion County on Thursday afternoon.
A report by WISH states that the wreck happened on eastbound I-465 near Mooresville Road on the southwest side of Indianapolis. A car collided with a semitractor-tanker on the interstate at about 4:42 p.m. Crews from the Decatur Township Fire Department extricated one person in the car who sustained minor injuries. The truck driver was not injured.
Two left lanes on I-465 were shut down while the scene was being cleared. There was no immediate word on what caused the incident.
