Crash near Indiana State Fairgrounds leaves 1 dead, 2 injured

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police in Indianapolis are investigating a deadly crash that occurred on Tuesday morning, reports WISH.

The incident happened on Fall Creek Parkway North near the Indiana State Fairgrounds on the city's north side. Officers responding shortly before 10 a.m. found that two vehicles had collided, and a man was dead at the scene. Two people in the other vehicle were seriously injured and transported to an area hospital.

Fall Creek Parkway North was shut down for several hours while the Indiana Metropolitan Police Department fatal crash team responded.
