INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A pedestrian was hospitalized Tuesday morning following an accident in Indianapolis, WTHR reports.
Police responded after a person was apparently hit by a vehicle in the area of North Euclid Avenue and East Michigan Street on the city's east side at about 9:15 a.m. The victim was taken to the hospital and was listed in serious condition.
The driver of the vehicle involved was reported to have stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The crash is under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
