Crash on I-25 north slows rush-hour traffic in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Drivers were encountering traffic backups on Interstate 25 in Albuquerque during Tuesday morning's rush hour due to a crash.

According to an advisory on NMRoads at about 8 a.m., the accident happened on I-25 north at mile marker 224 near the exit for Lead Avenue/Coal Avenue.  The left lane was closed on the interstate while authorities responded to the scene.
