Crash on I-465 slows traffic on northeast side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Drivers encountered delays on the northeast side of Indianapolis during Thursday afternoon's rush hour due to a crash.

Acccording to an advisory from WIBC Traffic at about 5 p.m., the accident happened on northbound Interstate 465 at Fall Creek Parkway, or north of E. 56th Street.

The right lane of the interstate was blocked while emergency crews responded to the scene. Traffic was jammed back to Interstate 70, causing delays of about a half hour.
