INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Drivers were encountering rush-hour delays on the east side of Indianapolis Friday morning due to an accident on Interstate 70,
According to an alert by WIBC Traffic at 8:15 a.m., the crash happened on eastbound I-70 at Arlington Avenue. The left lane and right shoulder of the interstate were blocked as emergency crews responded to the scene.
The report said the incident had created a three-lane bottleneck through the crash site, backing up traffic past the Emerson Avenue exit at least a half mile away.
