Crash on I-865 slows traffic on northwest side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A crash caused traffic delays on the northwest side of Indianapolis during Thursday morning's rush hour.

According to an alert from WIBC Traffic shortly before 7 a.m., the accident happened on Interstate 865, blocking the left lane of the interstate in both directions near Ford Road. It caused a car and a truck to become stuck in the median.

Westbound traffic was delayed for about a mile, while eastbound traffic was slow through the crash site.
