ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A vehicle crash disrupted traffic on Interstate 40 west of Albuquerque Sunday night, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office.
The accident happened on I-40 east at the 146 exit toward Route 66 Casino, the BCSO reported at 9:16 p.m.
Multiple lanes of traffic on I-40 east were closed due to the wreck. Deputies said one vehicle was on fire and there were also reports of 'great bodily harm', though no specific details were disclosed regarding injuries.
Then at 2:39 a.m. Monday, the sheriff's office said all lanes of eastbound traffic on I-40 at the 146 were closed for another crash in the area.
