Crash slows traffic on westbound I-465 near the White RIver

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Drivers were facing delays on the south side of Indianapolis Thursday morning as the result of a crash on Interstate 465.

WIBC Traffic issued an alert at 6:53 a.m. regarding the accident that happened on westbound I-465 between Harding Street and Mann Road, near the White River. The left lane was blocked on the interstate in both directions while crews worked at the scene, slowing traffic for at least a mile.

A secondary crash was also reported on eastbound I-465 that caused delays going back to Mann Road.
