INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Two crashes were slowing traffic for drivers in Indianapolis during Thursday evening's rush hour, according to WIBC Traffic.
The first incident, reported at 5:34 p.m., happened on eastbound Interstate 465 at Interstate 65 on the city's south side. The left lane of I-465 was blocked while emergency crews responded, and traffic was backed up to U.S. 31/East Street.
Another advisory posted shortly before 6 p.m. said that an accident had occurred on westbound Interstate 70 at Arlington Avenue, about a mile past Shadeland Avenue. The left lane of the interstate was blocked, affecting traffic on the east side.
