ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The New Mexico Department of Transportation advised drivers of a crash affecting traffic in a portion of Albuquerque Friday morning.
According to an alert on NMRoads posted at 8:40 a.m., the accident occurred on Interstate 40 westbound at mile marker 160 near University Boulevard.
The right lane and right shoulder of the interstate were shut down while emergency crews responded to the scene. Drivers were reminded to proceed with caution when traveling through the area, and to expect traffic delays.
