SHELBYVILLE, IN - The Shelby County Sheriff's Office released details of a fatal accident that occurred in Shelbyville on Friday, according to WISH.
The victim was identified as 54-year-old Troy Tillison of Shelbyville. Authorities said Tillison was driving a pickup truck northbound on State Road 9 when his vehicle crossed over the center line and struck a dump truck, then collided with a box truck. Tillison was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of the dump truck and the box truck were not injured.
State Road 9 was shut down for the crash response and investigation. Indiana State Police responded to the scene, along with the Shelbyville Fire Department and the county sheriff's office.
