WARSAW, IN - A driver was killed in a hit-and-run collision early Tuesday morning, according to a WNDU report.
Police and emergency crews responded to the scene in the vicinity of Detroit Street and Winona Avenue shortly after 3 a.m. and found that two vehicles had been involved in the wreck, an overturned 2021 Jeep and a 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca with extensive damage.
The Jeep driver, a woman whose identity was not released, died at the scene. The driver of the Subaru was believed to have fled the scene of the crash.
