INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indianapolis police are investigating a fatal car wreck that occurred on the city's northeast side early Tuesday morning, according to WXIN.
Police said a man was driving a Pontiac southbound in the 9300 block of Fall Creek Road when the accident happened at about 12:11 a.m.
An initial investigation found that the driver veered to the right, overcorrected, and went off the left side of the roadway, where the Pontiac crashed into some trees.
The driver, whose name was not released, was found dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
Fall Creek Road was shut down for several hours while the crash was being cleared and investigated.
