CHESTERTON, IN - The Indiana Department of Transportation said a truck accident was affecting traffic in Porter County on Monday morning.
According to an alert on INDOT TrafficWise at 9:34 a.m., a semi-trailer jackknifed on Interstate 94 eastbound. Two right lanes of the interstate were blocked from US 421 to Exit 40A-40B-US 20, about 10 to 14 miles east of Chesterton.
Drivers were advised to expect closures for the next three hours while the scene was being cleared.
