INDIANAPOLIS, IN - An accident near downtown Indianapolis Thursday morning injured a pedestrian and disrupted traffic along Interstate 65.
A report by WTHR said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at about 2:45 a.m. on I-65 south near the exit for Fletcher Avenue. The victim was seriously injured.
The three left lanes of I-65 south were shut down for nearly two hours for the crash response and investigation. The incident remains under investigation by Indiana State Police.
