Man seriously injured after crashing into pole in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A driver was taken to the hospital after his vehicle crashed and overturned in Indianapolis Saturday evening, police said.

According to WXIN, the accident took place at West 10th Street and North White River Parkway West Drive shortly before 7 p.m. Investigators said a man was driving too fast while going around a curve and collided with a utility pole, causing the vehicle to roll over.

The driver was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Indianapolis police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
