HOBBS, NM - A man died after he was struck by a vehicle in Hobbs on Sunday night, KCBD reported.
The victim was identified as 43-year-old Leroy Gonzales. Police said he was in the roadway at the intersection of Broadway Street and Turner Street when the incident took place shortly after 10:30 p.m.
An investigation found that Gonzales was hit by a maroon truck driven by a juvenile. The victim was pronounced dead after being transported to Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital.
Hobbs Police are continuing to investigate the fatal crash.
