Motorcycle accident blocks southbound lanes on I-465

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Indiana Department of Transportation said a motorcycle accident was disrupting traffic along Interstate 465 Friday morning.

According to WXIN, the incident happened on I-465 south between Kentucky Avenue and Hanna Avenue. Two people on the motorcycle were injured and taken to a hospital for treatment.

The incident shut down the right four lanes on I-465 southbound while police and emergency crews were responding.

All lanes had reopened by later in the morning.
