SANTA FE, NM - New Mexico State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred late Saturday night.
In a news release, State Police said the crash occurred on State Road 14 in Santa Fe near mile marker 30 at about 11:50 p.m. An investigation indicated that the a man was driving a 2021 Harley Davidson motorocycle northbound when he drove off the roadway and hit a guardrail.
The victim, identified as 53-year-old Dirk Stronck of Los Cerrillos, was pronounced dead at the scene. The NMSP said alcohol appears to have been a contributng factor in the incident.
