KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, IN - A collision along N. State Road 13 in Kosciusko County last week sent a motorcycle rider to the hospital, authorities said.
WNDU reports the crash happened Friday evening shortly before 6:10 p.m. Accident investigators learned that the driver of a pickup truck was turning north from Executive Drive onto State Road 13 when he failed to yield to a Harley Davidson motorcycle going south on the roadway.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike. The rider, a 54-year-old man from Syracuse, was listed in stable but critical condition after being flown to an area hospital.
The 65-year-old Leesburg man who was driving the pickup was treated at the scene.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office is trying to determine the cause of the accident.
