ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Albuquerque police said a car and a semi-truck were involved in a fatal collision early Friday morning.
A report by KRQE said the accident happened along Coors Boulevard near Sequoia Road in northwest Albuquerque at about 3 a.m. Responding officers found the two vehicles had crashed and one person was declared dead at the scene. The victim's identity was not immediately released.
The police department's Motors Unit is investigating the wreck, which shut down Coors Boulevard in both directions between St. Josephs Drive and Sequoia Road.
