BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM - The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office was at the scene of a fatal crash early Sunday morning.
The accident happened on westbound Interstate 40, the BCSO tweeted shortly before 5 a.m. Westbound I-40 near the 182 exit at Sedillo was closed while deputies were investigating. No information was immediately released on the victim.

No through traffic was being allowed on I-40 west and traffic was diverted through the area. The sheriff's office issued an update at 9:31 a.m. that all lanes were back open.
