ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A man is facing charges after police said he crashed in Albuquerque last week with his children in the car, according to KRQE.
Police said Isaiah Vasquez was driving south on 2nd Street Wednesday at about 12:30 p.m. when he fishtailed and crashed into a barrier adjacent to Interstate 40. Witnesses reported seeing a man, a woman and two children run from the scene.
Vasquez was located later and arrested on charges of reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and child abuse. Police said he was driving at over 100 miles an hour at the time of the wreck.
