LOS ALAMOS, NM - Police and emergency crews were called to the scene of a truck accident in Los Alamos County on Wednesday, KRQE reports.
Authorities said a dump truck overturned at the bottom of the truck route at mile marker 9 on East Jemez Road. One person was transported by ambulance with undisclosed injuries as a result of the crash, which also caused a diesel spill.
Los Alamos Police, the Los Alamos Fire Department, the Santa Fe Sherriff’s Office, and Hazmat crews responded for the investigation and cleanup. The truck route was shut down in both directions, and drivers were advised to seek alternate routes.
