INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Indianapolis police officers were called to the scene of a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident on the city's southwest side Tuesday afternoon, reports WTHR.
An investigation determined that a pedestrian was walking east on Bluff Road near Thompson Road at about 5 p.m. when they were struck by a northbound vehicle.
The victim was critically injured and transported to an area hospital. The driver involved stayed at the scene of the crash, which remains under investigation by Indianapolis police.
