INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police said a pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver near the southeast side of Indianapolis, WXIN reports.
The incident happened Monday night in the area of E. Naomi Street and S. State Avenue, where police officers responded to the scene at about 11:15 p.m. It was determined that a man had been hit by a vehicle at that location. No details were immediately available on the extent of the victim's injuries.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
