HOBBS, NM - A man died after being struck by a vehicle near an intersection in Hobbs last week, KRQE reports.
The victim of the May 12 incident was identified as Leroy Gonzales. According to the Hobbs Police Department, he was in the road in the area of East Broadway Street and South Turner Street at about 10:30 p.m. when he was struck by a maroon pickup truck driven by a juvenile.
Hobbs police are continuing to investigate the fatal accident and said that as part of the investigation they are reviewing videos and executing search warrants, among other investigative methods.
