Pedestrian struck, killed by pickup truck in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Police said a pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in northeast Albuquerque last week, KOAT reports.

The incident happened Friday night in the vicinity of Espejo Street NE and Copper Avenue NE.  Investigators determined that the victim was walking in the eastbound lanes of Copper Avenue near the Los Altos Golf Course at about 10 p.m. and was hit by an eastbound 2019 Dodge Ram truck.

The Albuquerque Police Department said the pickup truck was sealed and taken into possession, and charges were reported to be pending in the case.  There were no signs of intoxication, according to police.  Should any additional information come to light, our Albuquerque car accident lawyer will update this news blog.
