INDIANAPOLIS, IN - One person was injured in a hit-and-run incident in Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon, WXIN reports.
The crash, which involved a moped, occurred in the area of East 42nd Street and Arborcrest Drive. Officers responded to the scene on the city's northeast side shortly after 3:30 p.m.
One person was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries. No details were released on the circumstances that led to the crash.
The report said a male had been implicated in the hit-and-run, which remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
