SANTA FE, NM - A man died following a rollover accident in Santa Fe on Sunday evening, according to a KOAT report.
The crash involved a Polaris RZR off-road vehicle. Santa Fe police responding to the scene determined that the vehicle had been turning into a parking lot near Airport Road when it flipped onto its side.
A passenger, identified as 20-year-old Julian Vaquero-Lopez of Santa Fe, died after being transported to an area hospital. The driver was hospitalized but no details were available on the person's condition.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and have learned that alcohol was not a contributing factor.
