INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Drivers encountered traffic delays on the south side of Indianapolis Thursday morning due to a truck accident, WXIN reported.
According to Indiana State Police, a semi-truck collided with a concrete barrier on Interstate 465 and knocked the barrier into the opposite lane of traffic. No injuries were immediately reported.
The crash shut down the two right lanes of I-465 west near the scene as well as the left lane on the interstate heading east.
The Indiana Department of Transportation estimated traffic would be impacted for about two hours, and backups were reported in both directions on I-465.
