Semi-truck collision shuts down I-70 westbound in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY, IN - Indiana State Police said a truck accident disrupted traffic Wednesday morning along a portion of Interstate 70. 

According to WISH, two semitrailers collided at the 129 mile marker on I-70 west in Henry County at about 4 a.m., causing one of the trucks to catch fire.

Minor injuries were reported in the wreck, which happened southeast of New Castle and closed the interstate for over three hours.

I-70 was shut down at Wilbur Wright Road and South County Road 375 East, with traffic diverted off at the exit for New Lisbon/Wilbur Wright Road.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
