SOUTH BEND, IN - An accident in South Bend on Thursday morning left a woman dead and her husband injured, reports WNDU.
The incident, reported to be a rollover crash, occurred in the vicinity of Indiana Avenue and Scott Street at about 11 a.m.
One of the vehicle's occupants, a South Bend woman, died after being transported to an area hospital. Her husband's injuries were not believed to be serious.
There was no immediate word on what led to the wreck, which remains under investigation by the St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team.
