HENDRICKS COUNTY, IN - A teenage driver was killed in a collision in Hendricks County on Monday morning, authorities said.
WXIN reported details of the crash that occurred in the 1300 block of County Road E 900 N. According to the Hendricks County Sheriff's Office, a 16-year-old girl was driving west in a Nissan SUV at about 8:32 a.m. when the vehicle went off the road.
The Nissan rolled and then crashed into a pickup truck that was parked in a private driveway. The driver, a resident of Pittsboro, died at the scene.
Investigators suspect that speed was a contributing factor in the fatal wreck.
