HANCOCK COUNTY, IN - Traffic was snarled along a stretch of Interstate 70 early Monday morning following an overnight crash.
According to an advisory from Hancock County 911 at 6:37 a.m., the accident happend on I-70 eastbound. It resulted in backups of over five miles on the interstate, with congestion reported in the Mount Comfort area.
Drivers were advised to exit to Post Road if possible as an alternate route. By 7:10 a.m., traffic was finally back to normal after about six hours.
