INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Police are investigating an incident in which a car slammed into the front of a house in southwest Indianapolis on Tuesday morning and caused property damage, WXIN reported.
The car struck the entrance of a home on Kentucky Avenue near Ameriplex Parkway at about 3:30 a.m., with the front of the vehicle entering the dining room.
A resident said three adults and a child were in the home at the time, but no one was injured. The car was removed and taken away on a flatbed truck.
The driver of the car was not injured and was released from the scene by police. He reportedly claimed his brakes failed prior to the crash.
