INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Emergency crews were at the scene of a truck accident on the south side of Indianapolis during Friday morning's rush hour.
A post by WIBC Traffic at 7:25 a.m. stated that a semi-truck went through a concrete barrier on Interstate 465 westbound. The incident shut down the interstate at U.S. 31/East Street.
Workers responded to clean up the scene and moved the wall back into place. Two left lanes were also blocked on the eastbound side while crews assisted with the crash and closure.
Drivers were advised to take the I-465 exit to northbound I-65, travel to the South Split and then pick up I-70 back to I-465.

WB-465 remains *closed* at U.S. 31/East St. because of a crash. The semi that went through the concrete barrier has been hauled off. Workers are cleaning up the scene and moving the wall back into place.
