ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Roswell police are trying to track down the driver who left the scene after a fatal pedestrian accident last week, KRQE reports.
The incident happened July 24 in the area of Burkett Road and South Main Street sometime before 1:20 a.m. Officers arrived at the scene to find that a 21-year-old woman had been struck and killed by a vehicle.
WItnesses described the vehicle involved as an orange sports car with black stripes. Investigators believe it may have been a Chevrolet Camaro that could possibly have damage to the front end, windshield, hood, or roof.
