ALBUQUERQUE, NM - A woman was killed early Sunday morning in what Albuquerque police have labelled as a hit-and-run incident.
The Albuquerque Journal reports the crash happened in the area of 5800 Harper Place NE near San Mateo Boulevard. Investigators learned that the victim was a woman between the ages of 25 and 30. She was struck at about 4 a.m. by a dark two-door vehicle that was headed west on Harper Place.
The driver who hit her fled the scene. Police said they have not yet identified the pedestrian or the vehicle as they continued to investigate the crash.
