2-vehicle collision south of Goshen injures 6

ELKHART COUNTY, IN - The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office responded to a collision at an intersection on Friday morning, the Goshen News reports.

Two vehicles crashed at County Road 42 and Indiana 15 south of Goshen at 11:43 a.m.  According to the sheriff's office, the driver of a 2013 Honda Civic stopped at a stop sign before turning south onto Indiana 15 but failed to yield the right of way to a northbound 2016 Chevrolet Silverado and the vehicles collided.

The driver of the Civic, 77-year-old Paul Burns and 82-year-old Diana Burns were transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.  The driver of the Silverado, 60-year-old Armando Garcia Yepez, and three other passengers from the vehicles were injured or reported pain.

Paul Burns was cited by authorities for failure to yield the right of way.
