INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A driver trying to elude law enforcement authorities was involved in a crash in Indianapolis that injured four people, Indiana State Police said.
According to WXIN, the incident began when a state trooper attempted a traffic stop on the driver of a Ford Mustang Thursday at 5:21 p.m. for speeding and reckless driving. ISP said the Ford driver did not comply with the instructions to pull over and kept driving.
Following a police pursuit, the driver collided with another vehicle in the area of 10th Street and Holt Road on the city's west side. The Ford driver, a passenger, and two occupants of the other vehicle were all taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Mustang is now facing multiple criminal charges according to police, who are continuing to investigate the incident.
