At least 1 dead in accident at East 234th Street near Cicero

HAMILTON COUNTY, IN - Authorities were called to the scene of a deadly accident in Hamilton County on Wednesday afternoon, WTHR reports.

At least one person was killed in the incident that occurred in the area of East 234th Street and Cumberland Road near Cicero at about 3:30 p.m.

No details have been released about the circumstances that led to the crash. The intersection was closed for over two hours for the accident investigation, which is being conducted by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
