Crash causes traffic delays on I-465 east in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - A crash was causing traffic delays on the north side of Indianapolis on Monday afternoon, according to WIBC Traffic.

According to a post at 4:44 p.m., the accident happened on eastbound Interstate 465 and stopped traffic from Interstate 865 to Ditch Road with delays of over an hour reported. Delays were also reported on westbound I-465, causing backups to the exit for State Road 31 from 116th Street.

Police blocked the left shoulder on westbound I-465 near Ditch Road while they assisted with the cleanup from the crash.
