ELKHART COUNTY, IN - A serious accident was affecting traffic in a portion of Elkhart County early Thursday morning, WSBT reported.
At least two vehicles were involved in the crash at about 4:15 a.m. on U.S. 20 near Middlebury. Injuries were reported but no details were immediately available on the number or severity of the injuries.
Lanes were closed on U.S. 20 between State Road 15 and County Road 17 for about three hours while police and emergency crews responded to the scene.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the wreck.
