Crews respond to serious crash on 106th Street in Carmel

CARMEL, IN - The Carmel Fire Department said its crews responded to the scene of a serious crash on Tuesday afternoon.

An advisory posted at 3:48 p.m. said that the accident happened at E. 106th Street and Hazel Dell Parkway. Emergency crews extricated a single occupant from the vehicle, though there was no word yet on the person's condition.

Hazel Dell Parkway southbound was closed to traffic in the area while the scene was being cleared.
