INDIANAPOLIS, IN - First responders were called to the scene of an accident at an Indianapolis apartment building on Friday night, reports WXIN.
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, a driver crashed into an apartment in the 9200 block of Chambery Lane at Country Lake Estates on the city's east side shortly before 7:10 p.m. No one was inside the apartment at the time.
The 41-year-old driver was taken to an area hospital and was listed in stable condition.
The fire department's collapse rescue team also responded following a report that a structural collapse had occurred.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
