Driver, passenger injured in Elkhart County rollover accident

ELKHART COUNTY, IN - Two people were injured when their vehicle was involved in a rollover accident in Elkhart County on Friday night.

According to WSBT, the incident took place on County Road 18 at about 10 p.m. Police said a driver going eastbound ran off the road near Decamp Boulevard.

The vehicle crashed into a mailbox and a tree before overturning. The driver and a passenger were transported to Elkhart General Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
